A place for open models to work.

Fritz for people. An API for the things they build.

Latter Logic · 1 min read

People arrive at AI with different kinds of work. Someone needs to make sense of a folder of files. Someone else is building a product and needs model access inside their own software.

Fritz is the workspace for the first kind of work. The Latter Logic API is the developer path. They serve different needs, and both belong within the same practical picture of an organization.

Business is the structure around that work: people, access, subscriptions, and usage. It helps a team manage the service without asking every person to become the administrator.

Model choice adds another decision. Quality, speed, and total cost all matter, and the right balance depends on the task. A short routine job and a difficult analysis can call for different choices.

For now, we are concentrating on useful first tasks and clear operating boundaries. The pricing page explains the Fritz seat subscription and separate prepaid usage. Developer access will follow its own availability and pricing details.

About the examples

Hearth & Grain is a fictional bakery. The figures come from a supervised Fritz run on five fictional files, checked against an independent calculation. The page shows that work in the Fritz interface; it sends no live AI requests and does not access your files.

The model is an illustrative planning exercise. It excludes taxes, debt service and owner draws. The use-case examples use sample data.
