Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
In short
A monthly seat gives one person access to Fritz. Model usage is paid separately from prepaid credit. You review the price before paying and can stop future subscription renewals from Billing.
1. Your agreement with Latter Logic
These terms cover the Latter Logic website, customer portal, and Fritz services provided by Latter Logic, a personally operated business based in the United States. Contact us at [email protected]. A separate written agreement signed by Latter Logic takes precedence where it expressly changes these terms.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to create an account or purchase services. Purchases currently require a US billing address. If you act for a company, you must have authority to commit that company to the purchases and permissions you authorize. Browsing our public website or exploring the interactive example does not purchase a subscription.
2. Your account and company
Provide accurate account and billing information, keep your credentials private, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Each person needs their own account. Company administrators must use two-factor authentication.
Company administrators manage invitations, membership, seat assignments, billing, spending controls, and resources made available to their company. They may remove your company access. They do not need a paid Fritz seat merely to administer the portal. If an employer invites you, use that invitation; you do not need a separate personal subscription to use the seat the employer assigns you.
3. What you are buying
Fritz combines a desktop application with hosted account, billing, and AI services. Available features, models, operating systems, and integrations are described in the product and installer page. Do not assume an unlisted platform, model, or integration is included. The interactive website example uses prepared content and local calculations; it is not a free trial of live AI processing.
A Fritz subscription purchases seat capacity. A seat must be assigned to each person who uses Fritz, and the workspace needs sufficient prepaid usage credit. Payment confirmation, seat assignment, and installation are separate steps. API access and API credit are separate from Fritz seats and Fritz credit and may require separate access arrangements.
4. Prices, renewals, and prepaid credit
The current standard price is $20 USD per Fritz seat per month, plus separately prepaid model usage and applicable tax. The suggested initial usage credit is $5 per workspace, shared across its Fritz seats. One seat plus $5 credit is $25 before tax at the first checkout. The price, quantity, credit purchase, and tax shown in your checkout control that purchase.
Seat subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel the renewal. When you confirm a subscription purchase, you authorize the displayed recurring seat charges and applicable tax. Changes to seat quantity, prorations, renewal timing, or price are shown before you confirm the change. We will notify affected customers before a subscription price increase applies to a later renewal, so they can cancel before it takes effect.
Model usage is deducted from prepaid credit according to the applicable model and usage pricing. Credit does not expire and is separate from the monthly seat fee. Fritz and API balances are separate. Credit is usable only for the corresponding Latter Logic service and is not transferable between customers or redeemable for cash except where required by law or when we approve a refund.
Automatic recharge is optional and requires a separate opt-in to its amount, trigger, and spending limit. Saving a card does not by itself enable automatic recharge. If credit is insufficient, new paid requests pause until credit is available; that pause does not cancel your seat subscription. A separately granted pilot waiver applies only to the seat fees, company, and dates stated in that grant. It does not provide free model usage or a waiver for every new account.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can stop the next subscription renewal from Billing in the customer portal. Confirm the cancellation and check the displayed effective date. Current seat coverage continues until the end of the paid period. Contact [email protected] if you cannot access the cancellation controls. Uninstalling Fritz, leaving a workspace, or stopping work in the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We do not guarantee a refund for seat fees, partially used subscription periods, used model processing, or unused credit, except where applicable law requires one. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights. If a charge appears duplicate or incorrect, contact us with the payment reference and an explanation. Do not send full card details. An approved refund is processed through the original payment channel where possible.
Cancelling a seat subscription does not automatically refund credit, enable API access, or delete account records. If you want to close an account or discuss remaining credit, contact us.
6. Your work and AI results
As between you and Latter Logic, you keep your rights in content you provide. You authorize us and the service providers needed for your task to process that content to operate, secure, and support the requested service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use files, personal information, connected accounts, and other material you provide.
Latter Logic does not claim ownership of your generated work merely because you used Fritz. AI results can resemble other results, contain third-party material, or be ineligible for copyright protection. You must review results, sources, calculations, and proposed actions before relying on them, sharing them, or authorizing changes. AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate information and is not a substitute for qualified professional judgment.
Only connect accounts and permit actions you are authorized to use. A tool or integration can send data or make changes outside Fritz when you authorize it. Keep independent copies of important files. Do not provide regulated or highly sensitive information unless you and Latter Logic have agreed to the necessary protections in writing.
7. Responsible use
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, commit fraud, harass or exploit people, or access data or systems without permission. Do not circumvent authentication, billing, usage limits, or security controls; interfere with the service; or resell access without our agreement. Follow the terms of third-party services you connect and applicable model restrictions disclosed for your use.
We may restrict access when reasonably needed to address nonpayment, unauthorized access, harmful activity, a material breach, or a legal requirement. We will give notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue when reasonable and lawful. Urgent security or legal issues may require immediate action. Suspension does not remove any refund or other rights required by law.
8. Availability and responsibilities
We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every task. Models and connected services may change or become unavailable. No service-level guarantee applies unless we agree to one in writing. We will communicate material changes that affect an existing purchase and address required remedies under applicable law.
To the extent the law permits, the service and AI results are provided as available, without implied guarantees of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The published version will show its effective date. We will give notice of material changes through the service or account email before they take effect and request further agreement when required. Changes will not retroactively alter completed purchases.
For a service issue, billing dispute, accessibility request, or question about these terms, email [email protected]. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive participation in a class action. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
